- 九鬼
- The nine classes of ghosts are of three kinds: without means, small means, rich. The first group have [lang id =1028]炬口 burning torch-like mouths, or [lang id =1028]鍼口 narrow needle mouths, or [lang id =1028]臭口 stinking mouths; the second group have hair like needles, or stinking hair, or tumours; the rich ghosts haunt sacrifices to the dead, or eat human leavings, or live truculently.* * *無財鬼三種, 即炬口鬼、 鍼口鬼、 臭口鬼, 少財鬼三種, 即針毛鬼、 臭毛鬼、 癭鬼; 多財鬼三種, 即希祠鬼、 希棄鬼、 大勢鬼。 合之便成九鬼。
